Nigerian Nurses Charitable Association UK is a non-profit
organization incorporated in January 1998 in the UK. The association
represents approximately 3,000 Nigerian nurses and intends to
establish chapters nationwide. Our mission is to provide a forum
for collective action by Nigerian nurses to "investigate,
define and determine issues affecting its members with a view
to implement change to alleviate and improve living and working
standards amongst members"

UK is committed to excellence in education and conducts continuing
education programs for nurses and allied health professionals throughout
the year. The association will also work towards providing annual
scholarships for students.

UK will collaborate with private and public agencies/organizations
that share common concerns for improving the health status of all
people.
We intend to publish Newsletters four
times a year: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter; and a Journal
of Nigerian Nurses Charitable Association UK twice a year: Spring/Summer
and Autumn/Winter.

UK will also convene an Annual National Institute and Conference.
The Association will host an Annual Institute and Conference in
the summer of each year which will feature the most prominent speakers
in nursing and health care. |
